Layer up your resilience

Resilience: The ability to adapt, flex and not to break in the face of adversity, threats, tragedy and difficult times, in this fast paced challenging world - Thats our view on what resilience is.

Life is at times tough, very tough infact. We will all deal with some very heavy stuff at some point in both our personal and our working lives. Thats a fact. It’s also a fact we live in a fast paced challenging world.

The challenge is, how do we keep all of that in perspective, dismiss the noise, focus on what’s important and layer up that resilience.

Resilience Keynote Presentation

If you’re wanting a no fluff, direct and to the point keynote presentation, that has people laughing, thinking and challenges them on building personal and team resilience then carrying on reading, you’ve find the right place.

Layering up your resilience is about aligning the 5 key pillars of building resilience told through incredible individual and community stories from a conflict zone close to our shores.

Whilst the stories may be uncommon, everyone will be able to relate and learn from them because at the end of the day, we all have the same but different stories. Its simply a different perspective.

Paul Walsh - Keynote Speaker

Stories told with humour, respect and acknowledgment. Paul will take you on a journey through some of his career highlights and lowlights, with a resilience focus lasering in on his time in East Timor - communities ripped apart through internal conflict.

“We learn though story. When we stand in other peoples shoes even for a brief moment, we see the world through their eyes, we learn from their learnings and we can find strength from that. Through that story we can layer up and build our own resilience”

If they can get through - I can get through is a bit of a mantra to hold on to.
